  • TESTIMONIALS

“Opening the eyes and broadening the mind. Directing the gaze while respecting freedom. Arousing spontaneous desire while allowing critical intelligence. Sensing the need to experience the intensity of fleeting emotion with increasing regularity. Allowing an authentic encounter, a fertile short-circuit between the work, the artist and the informed collector. Accepting the flights of the heart to forge from them a path to the sublime. Finding the energy of creation without denying or forgetting the power of history. Supporting new talents in their rise thanks to the support of attentive, generous patrons. Giving renowned collectors a taste for the Elsewhere, the Other, the Unknown. Making possible the euphoria of acquisition, of that “first time” for those who didn’t dare before. Loving and celebrating artists. To these stimulating challenges Samuel Le Paire and Ma Galerie have risen with panache, faith and passion. He and his team deserve every success!”

    Renaud DONNEDIEU de VABRES
CEO of RDDV Partner / Former Minister of Culture and Communication

“I have known many art dealers: two I have never met who, for very different reasons, have deepened my understanding of this field which wavers constantly between money and talent: Gersaint, Watteau’s friend, and Daniel Wildenstein, whose seat I assumed at the Académie des Beaux Arts. But there is one I know well, one to whom I am infinitely indebted, and that is Pierre Loeb, the unforgettable diviner of Galerie Pierre on the rue des Beaux-Arts. I have long observed him, following his keen gaze upon the painting of his time. I admired his courage in the risks he took, and the fact he was guided by conviction rather than greed. If I am waxing lyrical about the long shadow he casts and his esteemed judgement, the exceptionally rare relationship he fostered between his artists based on trust and shrewdness, it is because Samuel Le Paire reminds me of my old, close friend in many of his qualities. His current exhibition is a defining act, a kind of manifesto which Pierre would not have disputed, and one I am happy to endorse with admiration.”

    Hugues R. GALL
State Councillor, Member of the Economic and Social Council, Former Director of the Operas of Geneva and Paris, Member of the Institut de France, CEO of Fondation Monet in Giverny

“We are happy to recommend Samuel Le Paire as an art consultant. Samuel is passionate, likeable and hard-working. His advice broadens one’s understanding of a painting to encompass the artist, their works and their context.”

    Pierre DENIS
    CEO of John Galliano, Paris

“Over these past years, I have come to realise both the great expertise of Samuel Le Paire in matters of contemporary art and his profound integrity during acquisitions for which I consulted his intermediary. To the collector, he is a competent and trustworthy advisor.”

    Antoine de TARLÉ
CEO of Editions OUEST FRANCE and Educator at Sciences PO, Paris

“As a modest collector, I always take pleasure in communicating with Samuel Le Paire to gather relevant information and enrich my personal culture. In the face of the democratization of contemporary art, it is now more important than ever to act discerningly, though purchase is often influenced by subjectivity. Samuel acts as an expert guide through this maze of eclectic works which make up the art market.”

    Laurent GUIBLAIN
Commercial Director of Havias Medias, Paris

“The one and only quality I expect of a gallery manager is trustworthiness. Beyond satisfying my curiosity by allowing me to discover new artists – regularly demonstrating incisive aesthetic sensibilities – Samuel Le Paire helped me, with total integrity, acquire works wholly consistent with my desires and expectations.”

“Samuel is professional and readily available; there are few people like him. He is precise, serious, and attentive to detail. It is a shame he isn’t here in Italy… He is always prepared to find a middle ground and I found myself in good hands; I am sure we will work together again.”
