Élisa Pône is a multidisciplinary artist. She is interested in the perception of time and duration as well as the impact of technological development in the contemporary world. Élisa Pône's artistic practice revolves around notions such as the treatment of temporality, the understanding of paradoxes, and the inconsistency that shapes our environment. Each work of the artist involves an absence or a disruption, finding a particular occurrence within the media called upon: installation videos, printed images, objects, performances, and architectural forms. Her work is haunted by a sensitive perception of time and aimless processes of emancipation, applied in inappropriate contexts, and seems to seek an equilibrium within the paradox.
