Vee Speers has been an Australian photographer based in Paris since 1990. She discovered photography in the 70s, assisting her father in his darkroom converted into a caravan, fascinated to see his portraits appear as if by magic. She then trained at art school in Brisbane in the 80s, and worked as a photographer for ABC television in Sydney.
Speers captivates viewers the world over with the dramatic narrative tension that emanates from her portraits.
