Aki Kuroda is a Japanese artist who freely develops his artistic research in painting, photography, sculpture, architecture, scenography, sets, installation, performance, or happening. He plays on space-time, the cosmos, the universe, or reality. To feed his imagination, the artist does not hesitate to approach great scientists, astrophysicists like Hubert Reeves, and continues his research with the designers of the Ariane rocket. In parallel with his pictorial work, Aki Kuroda creates performance shows in which he mixes different artistic forms. He calls himself a man of passages between cultures, between East and West, between the uncluttered calm of the Zen universe and the swarm of graffiti, between soul and body, between archaic myths and the future in inventing.
